CREATING VALUE TOGETHER

In order to create real value I believe we need to really feel valued. When we feel safe and appreciated creativity flows automatically and abundantly. Therefore real co-creation is also about creating the right setting to flourish together.

I worked with many different people in very different settings. On this journey I noticed certain patterns or rules to be great guidelines for getting to deeper understanding, greater clarity and, mostly, more creativity.

E X A M P L E P R O J E C T S

EMBODIED VISUALISATIONS

Bodies of therapeutic, academic, and spiritual work have been dancing and coming together in the past decades. Somatic experiencing, polyvagal theory and authentic relating are a few of my favourites.

Since I myself have gained great insight from them I feel passionate about integrating them and making them more accessible to anyone that wants to grow to a more responsible human.

HOMEOSTASIS

Together with the talented director Iris Hollow I am creating a film project to dive into the topic of feeling home and what that empowers us to be and do. We interview people from all walks of life to reveal the ‘wisdom’ they acquired on their respective journeys.

QUARANTIME

A cheeky spin on the popular game Werewolves.

In the middle of the first lock-down I was ‘stuck’ in New Zealand and felt like giving the situation a playful twist. I see the COVID situation as an interesting blend of challenges and opportunities – especially to be creative and compassionate.

The game is not fully finished yet. Surely let me know if you want to use it or want to help make it more funny/creative/functional.

CHILL

I helped creating prototypes of new business concepts for big corporations to test with real customers at Cisco's 2017 CHILL event in San Fransisco. Together with Thirty-X, I also helped to shape the event itself.

"CHILL is an intensely focused innovation experience that is turning the traditional innovation model on its head. It brings together a select group of customers, vendors, designers, and hackers to solve a common industry challenge."

DESIGN BETTER BUSINESS

Thirty-X and Business Models Inc asked me to help create the book "Design a Better Business", which is now translated in over 10 languages. I also helped run high-pressure workshops, that teach these methods, together with a team of very talented people from all over the world.

Design a Better Business is a manual stacked with tools give an edge: Design thinking. This is a way of thinking used by Designers that revolves around being flexible, experimenting, prototyping, and testing assumptions in the real world. Design Thinking is the tool organizations need to become agile and innovative.
